Fred Stapf and Richard Stapf, Sr built the original house for this family. When it burned the family came to Stapf Construction to discuss rebuilding on the original site. Working with the family and a designer a new design was developed for the existing foundation that reflected contemporary floorplan preferences and attention to finishes and materials, like the cedar shingle siding, that had not been included in the original.
